Hi there! Today is the FINAL day of the Online Extravaganza! If you haven’t taken advantage of the best sale Stampin’ Up! offers all year, you have just a few more hours until it closes at 11:50 pm Mountain Time. In the spirit of sharing cards made with products on the sale, here is a card we made last week at my Intro to Stamping Class! Super fun and cute! I love layering the little punches on top of the 1″ Square Punch (on sale) and then onto the Postage Stamp Punch! The smaller, simple note cards below this info use many of the same supplies, but do not use the stamp set, just the punches. These are going to be my Christmas thank yous that I send out to friends and family. For these cards, punch the smaller punch first (Merry Minis Punch Pack) and then it is much easier to center the larger one (1″ Square Punch) around it. I CASEd both the little thank yous, as well as the card above from the fantastic Julie Davison!!!
I used a favorite of mine, the Basic Rhinestone Jewels (30% off) yet again! The Gumball Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon is in a bundle with the Raspberry Ripple & Summer Starfruit (30% off too) for $18.81 – that’s 30 yards of ribbon total! That’s just under $0.63 per yard! WOW!

The card was again a CASE of my fabulous friend Desiree Spenst, who again shared that the idea wasn’t hers. The DSP folded trees are made out of half of the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch – super simple but super cute! I’ve become obsessed with the glimmer paper lately so I topped one of the trees off in a star punch with the Silver Glimmer Paper!!! The “snow” is simply a piece of 2″ x 5-1/4″ Very Vanilla card stock torn lengthwise down the middle and then I added some 2-Way Glue Pen before dumping on some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter! Wowza – I love this card and it SPARKLES!!!

I just love this little gingerbread boy and girl from the Scentsational Season stamp set in the Holiday Catalog! Remember that if you love them too, they are only available until January 2, 2013!!! To make the little boy, I tied a little bow with the Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine and put some of the Basic Rhinestone Jewels on for his buttons. They are on sale for only $3.47!!! I think I already ordered 4 packages to stock up!!! The little girl gingerbread’s bow is made with 2 of the tiny hearts from the Owl Builder Punch! Clever use, huh? 🙂 As I said, not my idea but BRILLIANT!!! I also used the Gumball Green ribbon that is on sale in the bundle, as well as the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack. I LOVE both of these items, but think it especially hard to see how awesome the Brights DSP Stack is! It includes 2 each of 2 double-sided designs in all 10 colors in the Brights Collection! LOVE it!!! All of the patterns are tone-on-tone and include: polka dots, stripes, a text pattern, and a fancier looking motif! So so so useful!!!

I just love this card that I CASEd for my Winter Stamp-a-Stack Class this past week, but I have NO idea who I got the idea from…sorry! So so so pretty!!! It uses a very simple color scheme and the beautiful Core’dinations card stock. I tell you what, putting it through the Big Shot in an embossing folder, then sanding with our Stampin’ Sanding Block to reveal that lighter core is like magic! Also, I think I didn’t quite re-ink my Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad enough, so when I stamped it was a bit blotchy. The Blender Pens are a quick fix when used with the ink you squeeze on the lid. I’ll make a video showing you what I mean very soon!

I LOVE this stamp set! This beautiful card was a Make and Take at an event I attended when I was at Convention several years ago, but I just made it recently! It is just one of those simple, beautiful, monochromatic cards that would be wonderful in any color combo!!! This stamp set is even more versatile than you know – I see this sentiment used on Santa cards for the holidays!
