An apology in advance for this lengthy post! 🙂 I also apologize for my long hiatus! I’m working on 24 samples for display for our Stampin’ Up! Convention in July so I’m really trying to get those done. Bonus…in July, I’ll have 24 pretty sweet projects to share! 🙂
A new catalog is always exciting and brings a great variety of new things everyone wants to try out! Here’s how the 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up! Product Shares work:

I started papercrafting when I was 10 when my mom and I started scrapbooking together. Many, many years later, I found Stampin’ Up! and fell in love with the simplicity of card making. Project Life is EXACTLY what I need to get back into scrapbooking again so I can’t wait to order these products and start documenting our memories again! I love looking at my old scrapbook pages and remembering the stories and people.Now to print some of the thousands of pictures that I’ve taken…that’s definitely one drawback of digital photography. Anyone out there like me that hasn’t printed a picture in years? I think pictures are actually the #1 reason I quit scrapbooking. I’d print a picture but so often felt like I needed it in Black & White or a different size or whatever so I just went to card making where I didn’t have to worry about a picture at all.

Yesterday Stampin’ Up! added retired products to the clearance rack at savings up to 80% off! For the first time ever, there are also stamps on the clearance rack so be sure to check those out!
Here are my top picks:
-1-1/4″ Striped Grosgrain in ANY color! This is one of my all time favorite ribbons! Ties beautifully and an easy way to add pattern and texture to cards, scrapbook pages and other projects.
-Markers! There is nothing wrong with these markers, but SU! decided not to sell them all individually any longer. A real steal at $0.89 a piece!!!
-Ink Pads – keep in mind these are the old style of ink pad that was retired last may. I do like our new ones much better, but for the stamper on a fixed budget at under half price, they are a great way to build up your collection of colors for much less! An amazing deal at only $2.39 per pad!

Hi there! Today is the FINAL day of the Online Extravaganza! In the spirit of sharing cards made with products on the sale, here is a card we made last week at my Intro to Stamping Class! Super fun and cute! I love layering the little punches on top of the 1″ Square Punch (on sale) and then onto the Postage Stamp Punch! The smaller, simple note cards below this info use many of the same supplies, but do not use the stamp set, just the punches. These are going to be my Christmas thank yous that I send out to friends and family. Hi there! Today I have another super cute card that we made at my Stamp-a-Stack this month! This one was CASEd from my dear, dear Canadian friend Desiree Spenst – although I think she said she had also CASEd it from someone else. I just love this little gingerbread boy and girl from the Scentsational Season stamp set in the Holiday Catalog! Remember that if you love them too, they are only available until January 2, 2013!!! To make the little boy, I tied a little bow with the Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine and put some of the Basic Rhinestone Jewels on for his buttons. They are on sale for only $3.47!!! I think I already ordered 4 packages to stock up!!! The little girl gingerbread’s bow is made with 2 of the tiny hearts from the Owl Builder Punch! Clever use, huh? 🙂 As I said, not my idea but BRILLIANT!!! I also used the Gumball Green ribbon that is on sale in the bundle, as well as the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack. I LOVE both of these items, but think it especially hard to see how awesome the Brights DSP Stack is! It includes 2 each of 2 double-sided designs in all 10 colors in the Brights Collection! LOVE it!!! All of the patterns are tone-on-tone and include: polka dots, stripes, a text pattern, and a fancier looking motif! So so so useful!!!

I just love this card that I CASEd for my Winter Stamp-a-Stack Class this past week, but I have NO idea who I got the idea from…sorry! So so so pretty!!! It uses a very simple color scheme and the beautiful Core’dinations card stock. I tell you what, putting it through the Big Shot in an embossing folder, then sanding with our Stampin’ Sanding Block to reveal that lighter core is like magic! Also, I think I didn’t quite re-ink my Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad enough, so when I stamped it was a bit blotchy. The Blender Pens are a quick fix when used with the ink you squeeze on the lid. I’ll make a video showing you what I mean very soon!
