Hi! Just wanted to make sure you all knew about the addition to our Simply Scored line! The Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (125586) is now available for customers to purchase. This plate works with your Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), by simply sitting on top of it and lining up with the grooves in the upper ruler part, so that scoring on an angle is just as easy as scoring with the original Simply Scored board. The great thing about this plate is that it enables you to quickly and easily make custom envelopes for nearly any size card! It also makes great boxes as well! The plate has silicone patches on the back side to keep it from slipping and a handy arrow on the back that reminds you how to place it on top of your Simply Scored Scoring Tool. The best part is that it is only $11.95! Add a few other items onto your order and when your order reaches $50, choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item as a bonus!!!
Please come back next week – I am planning on making some videos soon that use this new product! Get yours now so that when I demonstrate it, you already have it!!! 🙂

Hi there! Today I’m bringing you a card using a few more of my favorite products from Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Mini catalogs! I do not know who to credit for this card – someone brought it to a shoebox swap that one of my sidelines in Stampin’ Up! coordinates (thanks Shelly!) – but I LOVED it and thought I’d share it with you! It uses all 3 of the products in the bundle for hostesses that have a $400 party – the Fresh Vintage stamp set, Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, and Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack! Love them all – especially with a couple of the standout products from the Occasions Mini – Labels Collection Framelits Dies and Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies!!! Notice the Lucky Limeade layer behind the main focal point? It is just that same size as the focal point cut in half. Gives a different look than if you just used the Framelit that is the next size up – I loved that idea!

Sale-A-Bration Everyday Enchantment Scrapbook Page
Hello! Today I’m bringing you a 12″ x 12″ Scrapbook Page I made with the Sale-A-Bration exclusive Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper! This is my favorite patterned paper that Stampin’ Up! has done in the 4 years that I’ve been a demonstrator!!! I LOVE it! And of course, it doesn’t hurt at all that it is FREE with a $50 order until March 31st (I need to stock up – more than the 3 packs I already have
). Anyway, I also used a few other fabulous products on this card, including my runaway favorites from the Occasions Mini Catalog – Framelits and Edgelits. I’ll show you in my video tomorrow how I used the Labels Collection Framelits to make a fancy edge as I did on the 3 main panels of DSP behind the photos.
Hello! Today I’m going to share with you my Top 5 Must Have Tools from Stampin’ Up! – these are my favorite tools I use most every time I do any sort of paper crafting!
1. Tabletop Paper Cutter (106959; $45.95) – I LOVE this paper cutter! After crafting for 15 years, I’ve constantly been on the search for the best paper cutter, tiring of the rough edges, not being able to get a straight cut, and blades slipping out of the track. My favorite things about this cutter:
– self-sharpening (you never have to buy another blade again)
– guillotine style (no problems with a crooked track or blades slipping out of it)
– handle and extended ruler that store underneath it for easy transport
– extended arm with ruler up to 12″
– ruler on base up to 6″ (need extender arm less often than with other cutters)
– cuts the tiniest slivers off of paper easily and accurately
– every cut perfect EVERY TIME (Tip: hold down the clear part to keep your paper still while cutting)
I know it is probably pricier than most paper trimmers you might have bought in the past, but I’m sure I have easily spent over $200 on other trimmers and replacement blades over the past 10 years or so, so it is totally worth it! Also consider that you don’t have to spend money on replacement blades EVER! I’ve sold several of these and each person has given me amazing reviews of their experience with theirs as well! I even convinced my upline that after years without this trimmer, she had to have it and guess what? She LOVES it!!! (Probably not quite as much as I love mine!)
2. Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113430; $99.95) – Again, as a lifelong paper crafter, I’ve come in contact with many different die-cutting machines, so the following are reasons why I like the Big Shot the best! Probably my favorite reason is that it cuts through over 50 materials, including thick chipboard, tin, corkboard, balsa wood, fabric, vinyl, fun foam, and paper of course! Also, the Big Shot does not require electricity so it is easy to transport to crops or a friend’s home when you want to create on the go. One of my favorite things to do with it is to emboss card stock (you can also emboss other materials as well)! There are several types of dies, plates, or folders that all produce different results! I can’t imagine creating without it!
3. Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334; $29.95) – I use this on every card I make to create the simple clean fold, but this scoring board is also great to create envelopes, custom gift boxes, and so much more. It has scoring grooves ever 1/8″, comes with 3 markers that you can use at the top of the board to mark where you want scoring lines on any project, a stylus with its own place so it doesn’t get lost, and a handy storage compartment at the top of the board for the markers or other items. Also, Stampin’ Up! is coming out with a new diagonal scoring plate that will fit on top of it (March 1st!) so this line is one that keeps growing so possibilities with this tool are endless!
4. Mat Pack (105826; $9.95) – My first Stampin’ Up! purchase!!! It comes with 3 pieces that are about 4″ x 4″ all for use for paper-piercing. One is a self-healing mat (so you don’t poke holes in your table), a foam piece (allows you to make deeper piercings into your paper), and my favorite part, the paper-piercing template. The template will help you make decorative piercings evenly spaced, faux stitching, piercing for real stitching, and evenly spaced brads too!
5. Punches – I know this may seem like I am cheating as Stampin’ Up! carries over 50 punches, but this is one of my most used tools for sure!!! My favorites are the Decorative Label Punch (120907; $16.95), Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch (119275; $15.95), and 3/16″ Corner Rounder Punch (119871; $6.95) – although even that was hard to choose. I often use the Word Window Punch (119857; $15.95) to punch out smaller sentiments (especially from Teeny Tiny Wishes) and layer them onto the Modern Label Punch (119849; $16.95). Stampin’ Up! has such a wide variety of punches and I love to use them to make quick and simple impacts on my cards, scrapbook pages, and 3D items! Several of them also coordinate with our stamps, which makes creating even easier and faster!
I apologize for my ramblings – but these products are ones I feel very strongly about!!! Stampin’ Up! really sells some great items so narrowing it down was really tough but maybe I’ll do a #6-#10 favorites some other time! Let me know if you have any questions about these or other products in our lineup. Comment below with what some of your favorite Stampin’ Up! tools are!!!
Today I wanted to share with you the Valentine’s Day Card I made for my hubby!!! The card inspiration came from Leigha Rock, although I’ve seen tons of other variations on her original (like me, few of us vary much from her original). This sentiment was the reason I had to buy the P.S. I Love You stamp set, although I’ve fallen in love with it for the rest of the set too! I used French Foliage for the splatter, Paris postmark, and text stamps and Winter Post for the wavy postmark lines (I used my Early Espresso Marker to only color the lines and not the December 24th postmark on the stamp).
I also used the Early Espresso Marker with the Color Spritzer tool to add some more texture. The Heart to Heart punch popped the different colors of red card stock out easily and I sponged them with Early Espresso to add a little extra definition. I sponged the edges (and center a bit too) of the main panel Confetti White card stock (4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″) with the Tea Stain distressing ink from the Distressing Essentials kit (LOVE IT)! Then I distressed the edges with the cutter kit. I added a strip of the striped grosgrain ribbon that I’d cut the woven edges off of and frayed a bit, then wrapped the card several times with the linen thread before tying a bow. The sentiment was added and the hearts popped up with dimensionals. Then the Confetti White card base was layered with the Early Espresso 5″ x 3-3/4″ panel and the main image panel.
Enjoy the project! It would also make a great wedding card, anniversary card, or birthday card for someone you love! Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day! The P.S. I Love You stamp set is in the Occasions Mini catalog (ends April 30th, 2012), so don’t miss it – it is an excellent set for Valentine’s Day, weddings, anniversaries, and many other love events too!!! 🙂

I’m starting a new feature here on the blog – Quick Tip Tuesday! Just what it sounds like, every Tuesday I will bring you a blog post or video with a quick tip that will help you with creating and stamping! Today I have a video for you on How to Mount Clear-Mount stamps, as well as a couple of basic stamping tips. I found this way of mounting them (not the way SU! tells you to mount them) from another demonstrator and LOVE it! I have much better success with my clear stamps clinging to the acrylic blocks for a longer period of time with this method! Hope it helps you too!
Please let me know if you have any questions or have any other how-to video ideas you’d like to see me make!

Hello! Here are my favorite samples using Sale-A-Bration products that were on display at Stampin’ Up! Leadership 2012. I do not know who designed most of them, but will love to using these ideas in my upcoming workshops and classes! 🙂 Remember, until March 31, 2012, you can earn each of these stamp sets/paper/ribbon/brads FREE with a $50 order
Elementary Elegance (Wood – 125120, Clear – 125122) – This one was presented on Main Stage but I cannot remember who presented/designed these. Love the use of white embossing on the first four and VersaMark on the fifth one to show how easy it is to make beautiful cards with the fun frame that comes in this set!
Outlined Occasions (Wood – 126014, Clear – 126016) – This was probably my FAVORITE sample of all. This simple use of the pennant punch and our brights collection was by Heather Summers.
Sprinkled Expressions (Wood – 125130, Clear – 125132) – I loved the combination of the star stamp with the Big Shot Stars Die. Lots of great texture on this card too!
Fresh Vintage (Wood – 125115, Clear – 125117) & Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (126154) – I thought this pair of projects was just so pretty. The Everyday Enchantment DSP that both of these projects feature is my favorite DSP Stampin’ Up! has ever released!!! I am already dreading March 31st and this DSP going away. I’ve gotten 3 packs of it already (we got one as a giveaway at Leadership!).
I hope you love these samples as much as I do! Try making one today with your SAB goodies!
