Hi there!!! Today a video on how I’ve been using my wheels for the past 6 months or so! I use them way more often than I did when they were in the regular wheel form. I just never could get them to ink up evenly or roll in a straight line. The other nice thing is that you don’t need the two different handles and the builder wheel spindle & spacers. The one thing you do need is the Clear-Mount Cling Foam (124236). It costs $10.95 for two 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheets (one side cling & one side adhesive). You’d pay $13.85 for the standard handle, jumbo handle and builder wheel spindle & spacers so it is really about the same price depending on your preference.
Enjoy!!! I LOVE the wheels so choose how you want to stamp with them and head on over to my online store and get some to try today!!!

Hi stampers! Today I’m bringing you a video where I’ve created a card from start to finish. I will do this from time to time (not on a certain day every week like Quick Tip Tuesday) and I’m hoping you enjoy them!!! I LOVE this card – it is not my original design but someone fabulous from the Stampin’ Up! Home Office as this was one of our Leadership Make and Takes this past January. Lots of great products used here – including the Mixed Bunch Stamp set and Blossom Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog. REMEMBER: The Occasions Mini Catalog ends on April 30, 2012! Only 2 more days! Also I should mention that the original card (you’ll see it at the beginning of the video on the handout we were given with our Make and Take supplies) had a sentiment on a little flagged piece that was tucked in behind the button. Super cute! I was just waiting to see what I’d want to use it for before adding that.
Also, I want to apologize because the video is a little strange. Some of it had to be dubbed over because something went kaflooey with my audio on the video. I also am sorry that I’ve been MIA this week. My hubby and I got back from Florida earlier this week and got sick! 🙁 But I’m better now and planning to bring you lots of great stuff next week!!!

Quick Tip Tuesday #6: Ric Rac Using the Scallop Edge Punch
Today I have a video with a fun technique that you can use to accent any project. It uses Stampin’ Up!’s Scallop Edge Border Punch (#119882) to make an awesome, whimsical, little ric rac accent! I will show picture of the card in the video tomorrow.
As I mention in the video use a 1″ width strip with the old style (black) body and 5/8″ width strip with the new style (gray) body. Try it today and leave a comment below to let me know how it went!
Hi stampers! Today I’m bringing you a video with a GREAT way to use up all those scraps of designer series paper you have laying around! I recently learned the herringbone technique and have enjoyed using it on a couple of cards since then. I’ll show you another one next week that uses product from the Occasions Mini Catalog – today’s uses Sale-A-Bration products (SAB ends in just 2 days!!!) The video is pretty long so I’ll let you get straight to it! I’ll post a photo of the project as well as the full supply list below the video! I’ve turned comments back onto my blog so please comment! Have a wonderful day!!!
Hi! I’m sorry about the unplanned hiatus! I’m back with this week’s Quick Tip Tuesday on how using a piece of ribbon and brad together can make a super easy bow for your projects!!! I hope you enjoy it!!! I’m turning my comments back on so feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think and if there is anything you’d like to see me make a video of!
Bordering on Romance with Framelits
Hello!!! This is a swap I made for Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership Conference back in January! It uses many of the new products from the Occasions Mini Catalog, including the Bordering on Romance stamp set, Labels Collection Framelits dies, and the Adorning Accents Edgelits dies. I LOVED discovering that the Ovals from the Ovals Originals die (there are 3 sizes on the die) were a fun way to layer on top of the new Labels Collection Framelits dies. I used an unconventional color scheme that I found on page 28 and 29 of the Occasions Mini Catalog: Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Calypso Coral, and Pear Pizzazz (with a touch of Whisper White). Just a quick note about how I colored the focal point. The technique is called Burnishing and usually people use the Sponge Daubers to do it, but they were too large for this particular image. So I used Q-tips to color it in instead! Hope you enjoy this project!
Let me know if you would like to see a video on this technique! I turned off comments on my blog for a week or so to try and get rid of the spam so until then, contact me at sarah@sarahlovestostamp.com or on my cell at 816.341.0208!

Hi there! Today I’m bringing you a card using a few more of my favorite products from Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Mini catalogs! I do not know who to credit for this card – someone brought it to a shoebox swap that one of my sidelines in Stampin’ Up! coordinates (thanks Shelly!) – but I LOVED it and thought I’d share it with you! It uses all 3 of the products in the bundle for hostesses that have a $400 party – the Fresh Vintage stamp set, Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, and Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack! Love them all – especially with a couple of the standout products from the Occasions Mini – Labels Collection Framelits Dies and Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies!!! Notice the Lucky Limeade layer behind the main focal point? It is just that same size as the focal point cut in half. Gives a different look than if you just used the Framelit that is the next size up – I loved that idea!

Today I wanted to share with you the Valentine’s Day Card I made for my hubby!!! The card inspiration came from Leigha Rock, although I’ve seen tons of other variations on her original (like me, few of us vary much from her original). This sentiment was the reason I had to buy the P.S. I Love You stamp set, although I’ve fallen in love with it for the rest of the set too! I used French Foliage for the splatter, Paris postmark, and text stamps and Winter Post for the wavy postmark lines (I used my Early Espresso Marker to only color the lines and not the December 24th postmark on the stamp).
I also used the Early Espresso Marker with the Color Spritzer tool to add some more texture. The Heart to Heart punch popped the different colors of red card stock out easily and I sponged them with Early Espresso to add a little extra definition. I sponged the edges (and center a bit too) of the main panel Confetti White card stock (4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″) with the Tea Stain distressing ink from the Distressing Essentials kit (LOVE IT)! Then I distressed the edges with the cutter kit. I added a strip of the striped grosgrain ribbon that I’d cut the woven edges off of and frayed a bit, then wrapped the card several times with the linen thread before tying a bow. The sentiment was added and the hearts popped up with dimensionals. Then the Confetti White card base was layered with the Early Espresso 5″ x 3-3/4″ panel and the main image panel.
Enjoy the project! It would also make a great wedding card, anniversary card, or birthday card for someone you love! Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day! The P.S. I Love You stamp set is in the Occasions Mini catalog (ends April 30th, 2012), so don’t miss it – it is an excellent set for Valentine’s Day, weddings, anniversaries, and many other love events too!!! 🙂

The snowman tag image from Tags til Christmas (Item #was the inspiration for this shaker card. We created it at our most recent Scrap 6 Stampin’ Techniques club meeting on Tuesday. This also uses a few of my favorite items from the Holiday Mini Catalog – Mica Flakes, Shaker Frames, and the Snow Burst Embossing Folder.
First, I took the snowman tag image from Tags til Christmas and used an exacto knife to cut carefully through the rubber and label around the “To: and From:” part of the stamp. This is one of my favorite features of the clear-mount stamps – you can customize them by using an exacto knift to eliminate part of the image but then can just stick it back together on one of Stampin’ Up!’s Clear-Mount Blocks to recreate the original image. I love the versatility of being able to do this!
I will show how to assemble the rest of the card in a video to be posted soon! For now, you can order the supplies needed to make the card along with me at my online store!
Here is a close-up of the snowman shaker part of the card:
